The Department of Mechanical Engineering proudly congratulates Mr. Muhammad Faraz on successfully defending his MS thesis under the supervision of Engr. Arshad Ali and Dr. Muhammad Qasim Siddiqui on 23 July 2026.

The thesis defense session was conducted in the presence of Dr. Ali Nawaz Mengal, Dr. Kaleemullah Shaikh, Engr. Qamaruddin Abid, Engr. Arshad Ali, and Dr. Muhammad Qasim Siddiqui.

The External Examiner, Dr. Saeed Badshah, Vice Chancellor, University of Technology Nowshera, joined the defense presentation through Google Meet and evaluated the research work.

We sincerely congratulate Mr. Muhammad Faraz on this significant academic achievement and wish him continued success in his future academic and professional endeavors.

About Us

The Department of Mechanical Engineering at BUITEMS offers a PEC-accredited BS Mechanical Engineering program based on Outcome-Based Education (OBE). The program builds a strong foundation in thermal sciences, mechanics, design, manufacturing, and materials, complemented by modern computational tools and hands-on laboratory work.

Our graduates serve in the power, oil & gas, manufacturing, HVAC, and automotive sectors across Pakistan and abroad, and pursue postgraduate studies at leading universities.
